Alterations, Repairs & Upcycling

Dear Alterations Customers,

I truly enjoy working with you. Our conversations, the creative problem-solving, and finding solutions to fitting and repair challenges is rewarding work. The projects you’ve brought to my door have taught me so much, and I’m grateful for your trust and patronage.

However, I am pausing all sewing services (alterations, repairs, and lessons) for awhile, to focus on my original vision: designing and manufacturing natural-fiber clothing for women.

While I believe that sewing services are a wonderful asset to our community, I have learned that in my current configuration they are not profitable. And while I have tried to offer them as only half of my business, they take the majority of my time and creative energy. Therefore, effective immediately (August 6, 2025), I am finishing all current projects, and will not be accepting new projects for the foreseeable future.

This pause will allow me to build up the design and production side. My hope is that once that foundation is strong, I can bring back alterations, repairs, and lessons as part of the overall business.

Thank you for understanding and for being part of my journey. I’ve learned so much from working with you, and those lessons will inform everything I create moving forward.
