The linen Voyager Tee is perfect for all of your journeys. Relaxed, loosely fitted, slips on over your head, moves with you, and layers beautifully under anything.
This beautiful 100% linen fabric is a vibrant dark teal jewel tone, that lies somewhere between blue and green. (If you're particular about color, send me your snail mail address and I'll send you a swatch from the leftover scraps.)
I designed this after numerous requests to "please add sleeves" to my signature Sleeveless Warrior top (note: longer sleeves coming this fall). In this version you get the same effortless look and feel, but with a bit of sleeve, a little tuck on each shoulder, and a back neck collar for an extra splash of style.
I love the ease and comfort of a T-shirt, but I want to look a bit more elevated and put together most of the time. Bias-cut linen is perfect for this, because it wears (and washes) as easily as a tee, but it looks like you have your act together. LOL
I never wore linen until I started making my own clothes, and now it's my favorite clothing fiber. When my linen shirts are all in the wash, then I reluctantly reach for the others.
Over time it softens, and molds to fit and flatter your figure, but also gives, to accommodate minor weight fluctuations. And it’s so breathable, it just feels (for lack of a better word) natural. Unlike synthetic fabrics or synthetic blends, that can cause you to overheat or just feel off, and generally squeeze or restrict you, instead of letting you be you.
This is a piece for regular rotation. (I wear mine once a week.) And when it inevitably begins to show wear, it's easier to repair than many other fabrics. A bit of creative visible mending makes it more uniquely yours.
I make clothing in small batches in my Maine studio using natural fibers and thoughtful construction.
The linen in this piece is sourced from Fabric-Store.com, who specializes in European linen.
I use 100% cotton thread, rather than the polyester that most commercial garments are sewn with, because details matter.

NOTE: As a natural fiber, linen often contains slubs and subtle variations in texture. This is a characteristic of the fiber, not a flaw, and what gives linen its rustic, yet refined appeal.

Sizes are based on Bust Measurement (not your bra size). If you are unsure which size to order, select based on whether you prefer your clothing to be tighter or looser.
This shirt comfortably stretches about 5%
Bust 34 - accomodates a range of 33"-36"
Bust 36 - accomodates a range of 35"-38"
Bust 38 - accomodates a range of 37"-40"
Due to the nature of slow fashion production and bias-cut linen, slight variation between pieces of the same size, is to be expected.
Flat lay dimensions (not stretched).
B34 - bust 34.5" / back length 24"
B36 - bust 36" / back length 24.5"
B38 - bust 37.5" / back length 25"
Note: back length is from the nape at the back of the neck, not from the top of the back collar.
Linen clothing tends to fade less and last longer if you hand wash and line dry it (in the shade). However, I machine wash and dry mine most of the time, and they do just fine.
If you want to be more eco-conscious, wash it less often and line dry. Although, I do find that a bit of tumble dry gives it a softness (removes the crispness) that linen can have.
